Unscrolled Landing Page
Project Overview
Unscrolled is an educational adventure game for mobile devices.
For this design sprint, I worked closely with 2 designers to work closely with stakeholders in creating a landing page for the game’s beta release. In addition, we designed graphics for the app store and print materials. I was responsible for creating vector-based UI assets, conducting research, and designing high-fidelity mockups.

Problem Statement
Unscrolled needs a landing page to appeal to both young players and their parents while remaining consistent with the game’s design system.
Competitive Analysis
Textures, Bold Accents, and Imagery are Key
Key Design Principles for the Design Solution
Consistency
The design must be consistent with the game’s style guide and reflect the game’s artwork
Hierarchy
The information must be presented clearly
Engagement
The design should appeal to a young user group and motivate them to download the game
Iterations
How might we…
1. Incorporate visual elements from the game?
Incorporate textures into the entire background rather than just behind the photos to add more interest
Use stylized borders rather than simple ones for a cohesive feel and modern look
2. Create a clear hierarchy of the information?
Use a script font for the text callouts and add hand-drawn elements to separate the info from the rest of the copy
Use a change in background textures and increased white space to separate sections more seamlessly
3. Design the UI to be more engaging for children?
Use a brighter background and incorporate more visuals from the game
Create UI assets in which the characters stand out from the background images
Final design
Measuring Sucess
Bounce rates and conversion rates as metrics
The game’s beta version is currently undergoing UX texting. Once the game is released, I propose that bounce rates and conversion rates will give insight into the landing page’s ability to bring in new players.
